Detailed use process of biomass pyrolysis tube furnace
The following is a detailed use process of the biomass pyrolysis tube furnace:
1. Preparation before the experiment
- Familiarize yourself with the operating manual and safety precautions of the tube furnace.
- Check the appearance of the tube furnace to ensure that there is no damage or abnormality.
- Prepare the required biomass sample, ensure that it is dry, pure, and pre-treated according to the experimental requirements.
- Prepare the crucible or sample container, as well as the tools for loading and removing the sample.
2. Connect the equipment to the gas supply
- Connect the tube furnace to the power supply correctly.
- Connect the inert gas (such as nitrogen) supply device as required, and ensure that the gas pipeline is tightly connected and leak-free.
3. Sample loading
- Wear protective gloves and open one end of the tube furnace tube.
- Evenly place the weighed biomass sample in the crucible or sample container, and then carefully place it in the constant temperature zone of the furnace tube.
- Make sure that the sample is placed stably and will not move when the furnace tube rotates or the gas flows.
- Close the furnace tube and ensure a good seal.
4. Set parameters
- Turn on the control system of the tube furnace and set parameters such as heating temperature, heating rate, and insulation time.
- Set gas flow and ventilation time.
5. Start operation
- After confirming that the parameter settings are correct, start the tube furnace to start heating.
- At the same time, open the inert gas valve and introduce gas at the set flow rate to create an oxygen-free or low-oxygen environment.
6. Experimental process monitoring
- During the experiment, pay close attention to the changes in parameters such as temperature and gas flow to ensure that they meet the set values.
- Observe the operating status of the tube furnace. If there are abnormal sounds, odors or other abnormal conditions, stop the experiment immediately and check.
7. End of the experiment
- When the set insulation time is reached, the tube furnace will stop heating or start cooling according to the program.
- Continue to introduce inert gas until the temperature in the furnace drops to a safe range.
8. Sampling and shutdown
- Wear protective gloves, open the furnace tube, and carefully remove the sample container and cracking products.
- Turn off the gas supply, wait for the tube furnace to cool completely, and then turn off the power.
9. Cleaning and tidying up
- Clean up the waste and impurities generated during the experiment.
- Tidy up the experimental instruments and tools and prepare for the next experiment.
It should be noted that during the entire use process, it is necessary to strictly abide by the laboratory's safety regulations and wear appropriate protective equipment to ensure the safety of the experiment.
